The slow-core experimental folk project of NYC based Isabelle Ennis [astoria, oragami] BLUE HORSE is ennis's most bare and demonstrably brutal form. Taking stages with only a nylon string guitar and sampler filled with atmospheric, noisy yet restrained arrangements, the palpable tension within each heavy lyrical narrative is both captivating and crippling. Confronting territories of familial grief, addiction, and heartbreak, BLUE HORSE'S debut LP is set for release in early 2027.
